This ruler is in a half hexagon shape with a cutting area of 2.5" deep. Its ideal for cutting strips into half hexagons. A whole hexagon shape can be made by using a folded 5" strip. Located on the back of the ruler is a groove that snaps to the edge of your fabric for accurate cutting. Plus we have added a 12" on the bottom of the ruler for safety. Included with the ruler we have added a jelly roll quilt pattern called "Sweeter Than Honey" to help start your creative juices for future projects. This product is a companion tool for our NEW Morning Star Pattern.
