Dritz® Fray Check™ is a liquid seam sealant that stops fraying on fabric and can secure embroidery thread ends.

Dritz® Fray Check™ is a liquid sealant that will secure the ends of embroidery thread and prevent them from unraveling on an embroidered design. If the wrong thread on a design is accidentally nicked while trimming, your design may be able to be saved. Use this liquid to seal over the ends of embroidery thread. Can also be used to seal garment seams, preventing fabric from unraveling.

For use with:

  • Garment seams
  • Embroidery thread ends on embroidery designs

How to use:
Place a piece of cardboard between the area being treated and the other fabric layers. Unscrew the blue cap and puncture the tip with a fine pin. Gently squeeze the bottle and apply very small amounts of Fray Check™. Allow to dry for 15 to 30 minutes. Always keep cap on bottle when not in use. Will not stain most fabrics. Always test in an inconspicuous area to be sure there will be no color change or ring formation.
