Waiting on Spring is a great kit that features Meags and Me's quilt pattern Waiting on Spring. The adorable bunny adds a lot of charm to an easy pinwheel quilt! The pinwheels make for easy piecing and the large applique pieces make it great for all skill levels even if you are new to applique! This quilt finishes at 42" x 42" making it a nice wall hanging size or a great baby blanket!
The Kit includes:
Meags and Me's quilt pattern Waiting on Spring.
All fabric for front of the quilt, applique, and binding. The fabrics used are a great selection from the shop, making it a little bright and fun, and a lot cute! The kit includes cotton fabric for the applique bunny (and muslin to back the bunny so the pinwheels do not show through). There is not only enough pinwheel fabric left over for the applique flowers but also enough to either piece the backing, or make a whole other coordinating quilt or projects (see the pictures of the easy quilt we made with the leftovers)!
Kit includes 2 spools of Aurifloss one dark grey for the eyes and mouth of the bunny and one green for the flower stem.
Includes a great basket that would make just the cutest packaging if giving as a gift, or great décor wherever the quilt is displayed or used.
Finished quilt is 42" x 42" and 3 yards of backing is needed (unless you are using the extra fabric to make a pieced backing), as well as 1 yard of fusible web for applique (at least 18" wide).
