SCHMETZ BLx1 and DCx1 needle systems are used by specific sergers, overlock, cover, and safety stitch machines. DCx1 feature a reinforced blade and are suitable for all fabric types. These SCHMETZ Overlock needles are not compatible with home sewing machines. Machine owner's manual will specify  DCx1 needle system. SCHMETZ  DCx1 needle systems work with specific machine models of different brands.
