Venus, Cattails & Moon Bayou by Danica Bartelme with Batik Textiles 4308

Batik Textiles fabrics are handmade using Danica's designs combined with traditional artisan methods in Bali, Indonesia. Our batikers apply wax to fabric by hand using dots, lines or intricate patterns. The wax “resists” the application of the next chosen dye color. Multiple applications of wax and color may be used to achieve the final design and color of each fabric.

Quilters in particular have found our high quality, uniquely designed and colorful batik fabrics really do bring their quilting projects to life.

Due to the hand-crafted nature of batiks, fabric may vary some from image.
